CDR: Freedom and Responsibility

“Responsibility is the price of freedom.”

~Elbert Hubbard

Freedom is hard. I mean, like, there are no rules or anything to help tell you what you should and shouldn’t do – you know, because it’s freedom and freedom means “no rules, no dues and no one in charge.”

So, you have to figure everything out for yourself. Then, you have to actually make all the decisions yourself. And, if anything goes wrong you can’t blame it all on somebody else — like maybe George W. Bush — because . . . . It is your fault.

Boy, it sure is nice to have someone else to blame for all the bad stuff that happens.

Hmmmm . . . . Maybe this freedom stuff is highly overrated.
